Rolls of beautiful fabric, handmade using the traditional batik technique of hand-stamping a wax resist onto rayon or cotton, then dyeing it. The waxing and dyeing cycles can be repeated a number of times to create intricate and vivid designs.

An optional glitter effect can also be added. The material can be used for wall and ceiling hangings, or be made up into items of your own choice – curtains, bedding, uniforms etc. Custom designs, including logos, are possible. The maximum roll length for handmade batik is 13 metres.

Machine printing batik designs onto rayon or cotton allows for faster and more uniform production. We can supply printed batik in either contemporary or classic Javanese styles, and with a number of effects including 'washed out' and glittery.
